I feel Provorov was put in a very weak position to succeed in the last match up against the Hawks. Streit and our prized rookie were never a good pair from my prospective. I want to see how Provorov responds to his bad game against them. He knows who the Chicago Black Hawks are and what they've done in recent years. Go to it

they were very good today. really skated well, never let up. and missed the net a ton with some point blank looks. could have potted more. nice to see them stay disciplined....too bad a TMM call put them in both box though. hate those.

Provorov should be first star. Two big goals. A huge part of winning the game was the strong performance head to head, of the Giroux line along with the MacDonald/Provorov pairing against the Kane line.

Giroux had a good two way game today. He was all over the ice. Good leadership.

Agree, he is a solid 3rd line Centre which every team needs. Don't think he has shown enough offence to be considered a solid 2nd line C
