There isn't a GM alive that would take a pending UFA Mike Weber over a pending UFA Cody Franson.

Yea, he's fine in that role. I mean, I hate that he cannot skate to save his life, and won't care when he's traded, but it's not like he's hurting us in terms of penalites, possession, or scoring.

Our biggest asset during the tank was Mike Weber...to say Franson is just as useless isn't just a far stretch its wrong...in the right role (which he is in now) he is fine. Might be a bit overpaid but that's where he belongs.
