I'm guessing Gionta has a nmc, and even if he doesn't, I think it'll be a legwand type situation where Murray keeps him out of respect. No one wants franson. Ditto Moulson.

I thought one of the more interesting things GMTM said in his interview on WGR yesterday was that he would not trade Reinhart for speed just out of the blue. Now, I brought that up last week here as a bold prediction that might happen in the next two years. Does GMTM read HB? Is he one of you? A lurker? And I am touched that he thought enough of a bold prediction I threw out there to shoot it down on the radio, even if he though of it himself and said, no we won't do that. It's not crazy, but not going to happen.

The Sabres have some bottom line D depth. Too bad Darcy couldn't find players like Fedun and Faulk back in the playoff year against Carolina when a bunch went down.
