I think the most recent lineup change on D is addition through subtraction. Its interesting that they've paired Guhle with Franson. He's going to see more ice time than i thought

I am excited to see what Guhle can do at the NHL level, even if it's only for a game or two. But boy does it speak to our lack of depth for good NHL defencemen when we need to bring in a kid from the WHL to play for us. Who knows, maybe he'll turn into this year's Ghost?

I think it will be there in a year or two. They've got some promising players in college that will eventually end up on rochester.

I don't mind it, Kulikov probably back in a week and Bogosian in two so why not take advantage of the cba and give one of your most promising prospects a shot.

Agreed, the last two games show Nilsson isn't the answer. A decent enough back up but he was exposed IMO.

there was no chance of him getting playing time


I could have seen it if not for the kulikov trade, as they could have rotated pysyk and guhle on the bottom pair

I dont believe they would have either, but i was banging this drum all summer long. He may have struggled early on but over 82 games Guhle would have been far more effective than Gorges. But he blocks shots and wanted to be here so he gets big minutes.
