That's the thing tho whenever someone criticizse AV it turns into some strawman argument like "what? Would you rather have Capuano??"

Literally nothing to do with the argument and I'm not even saying we should fire bike but he literally takes zero tough questions from media or has to answer to anyone for blantanly stupid decisions.

- mrn22

We need to get back to one of those 5 or 6-1 wins tomorrow to calm some nerves.

I like AV but have criticized his lineup choices since the injuries. You are correct though, a lot of times its either one side or the other. Doesn't make for good conversation. Hell me and you disagree a lot.

I tried getting on before but it kept saying the website was down. Figured that is why its slow today. I think Jimbo purposely got banned cause RD was pissing him off.

Just facking waive clendening honestly. He's useless to the team as a 7th if he gets one game a month and it's back to the same 6. find someone AV can trust more if this is going to be the case.

And mdw it's good we disagree. Keeps it lively

Yup, if we all agreed all the time it would suck. Like the Nash thing, I know a lot of fans would like to see him gone, and I can somewhat understand it. I definitely want Nash to stay, think he is more valuable than anything we would be able to get for him.

Why do we make big deals about fringe and depth players? Clendening might be a nice find but seriously he's on what his 3rd organization? In regards to AV I'm more worried about the forward group looking slow and not skating as well as those combos than I am a 7th defensman or Tanner Glass because god already I've seen enough of those tweets, let it go folks, last year's team didn't have any depth and Glass worked his ass off more than most

I think everyone gets hung up on the name Vin. Its not so much thats its Clendening, its that we have guys Girardi, Staal, Klein that could use days off. So technically we should have a 7th defenseman that could be getting into a decent amount of games. Our defense other than McDonagh and Skjei is not the best and can easily get worn down. AV should have a capable 7th he can trust.

Completely agree with you about Nash, who would we get in return?
Saw some of the game last night, and it didn't look good. Going to a Christmas party tomorrow night, so I'll miss that game as well. Bummer.

Pretty much, still digesting Turkey.
Party is usually later, guess the host has more going on this year.

Bingo. I could careless if it's clendening. Call someone up but FFS stop going with the same lineup and game plan over and over and over it's madness

Clendening was consistently mistake prone with the Penguins. Everybody wanted to see him get a shot, and when he did, he pretty much took a careless penalty or sucked at defending.

Not the worst guy with the puck on his stick, but he's pretty terrible at defense (at least that's what we saw).

He was very good in the pre season for us & in a small sample early this yr he was fine too. It's just with DG & Staal showing age & Klein slipping too its not a bad idea (even to keep him sharp) to spot AC some time in there but after not playing for almost a month of course he was gonna be rusty last night.

Yep, no doubt he would be rusty. And it absolutely makes sense to give him a game every once in a while, but I don't think he's capable of regular duty in the NHL. He's simply not very good in his own end......and coaches don't seem to like that lol.

Did Vesey get any grief by the Buffalo public or players? Or was Eichels GWG enough?
