Always loved Shanahan and hoped he'd play for the Leafs. He's done even better for us and built us a team we can get behind and have hope for.

To be fair, Eich is on the ice in all situations now except pk. His draws are improved and his backcheck is very noticeable. He even laid out a few choice hits last night. The kid leads, and It's really close to being his team.
Glad to see Matthews having success, too.

Well here we are the first couple days into December, a little better then a quarter of they through the season, so isn't it just as well to keep Cowen on the roster and put him on LTIR and just get rid of his 4.5 cap hit at the end of the year. Worst thing that could happen is he get cleared to play, and he couldn't be any worst then Merincin.

We'll enjoy that error for years to come.

It so funny watching that guy bemoan leaf fans for "knocking other teams trying to make themselves feel better about their own team" all the while not talking about his own team and knocking everything leafs.

And when he wasn't scoring, he was also getting tons of chances. And not wristers from the blue line, controlling the puck down low and getting ridiculous chances in front. He must have hit half a dozen posts at least or just missed.

Laine is a great scorer and will be for years.

We needed a real center. It seems like we may have him.
