Then the market for him wasn't as strong as he thought, and he signed for much less money than Snow offered, but he was closer to his wife's family in Minnesota. Then Minnesota bought him out, and he's now playing for far less money than he'd be getting with the Islanders, so he justifies it by complaining about Brooklyn.
