STL on thurs, so that's 2 more losses .....
- Ur Not Me

Now, now, you said the same thing about the Pens and Caps. I'm starting to think you're really pulling for the Isles to win.

So your wife is hot and knows how to play nice with the high rollers?
- JohnScammo

Yes she's hot, but there aren't any high rollers at this casino. Just a small place. She does get hit on at the grocery store though when I'm not with her. I guess the giant (frank)ing rock on her finger makes dudes think she's available.

The Isles are going to miss the playoffs, but they won't be last.

So the lesson is, careful what you wish for. Karma will slap you on the assand make the Isles won when you want them to lose and vice-versa.

Deserved to lose? They had a lot of chances and a few egregious turnovers was it their best game no but I wouldnt say they deserved to lose

7 feels they deserved to lose, because they failed to re-sign The Frans.

Umm, upstate, if they had lots of chances that they didn't bury and a few egregious turnovers that led to goals, then that is sorry of the epitome of deserved to lose. If they played mistake free hockey and caught an unlucky break with a bad bounce or broken stick, then it's agree. Bear in mind that I didn't watch the game. Just going off of your reference.

Mrazyk made some saves a few just missed. Detroit missed chances too and had a turnover result in a goal as well. Deserving to lose is no hustle lack of effort and just being lazy and they weren't any of those things they just didn't win. You can agree or disagree but for not watching the game it's pretty tough to make an assessment. 7 thinks they deserved it that's fine too but in that case and in almost every game played someone deserves to lose no? Mistakes happen it's part of the game and why teams apply pressure, 4 was out long as they couldn't change and threw it up the middle it happens. Jt forced a turnover forechecking as well and to be honest I thought the or goalie made some good saves as did halak.

Fair points, I just didn't think they played that well especially when Detroit played last night and the Islanders hadn't played since Thursday. I think a lot of the players were passengers tonight. Not really a whole team effort like against the Caps. This is why I think they deserved to lose.
Doesn't mean I'm right and your wrong just means we have different opinions.

Yeah I'm not saying you're wrong either I thought Tavares line was good and stromes line and Casey had chances. The d was where I thought they were bad, that Seidenberg turnover was awful I don't know what he was thinking same with boychuk.

Cappy did not sound happy and that's telling. I agree 7 regarding thinking they deserved to lose. Does this make up for being against KO and Frans?

Thought JTs line played well especially JT and Bailey, Nelson was meh, ok.
Casey's line is Caseys line and they come to play every night, their effort for me is never questioned.( love Lee on this line gives it a big body who can finish)Strome's line other than a couple of chances they weren't good and did Ladd even play? Defensive zone was not good/acceptable which is where the problem starts. Take care of your zone and the rest will come imho.
Nah, for me just not a tight, strong team effort. Sloppy in a word, have to be better than that to be successful in this league, again especially in your own zone again just my opinion.

The defense was brutal with the turnovers. They are not a bunch of rookies where they should turn it over like that and panic with the puck.

As Al Arbour used to say, if your in good position defensively you'll be in good position offensively.

Ses we always make fun of cappy for his delusional pressers so even if they did deserve it this can't be a supporting argument

took my girl to her first game last night and we missed the first goal because some (frank)face named ezra decided to sell me tickets on stubhub but then use them anyway. good times. just wish we could have found him and worked him over for his bar mitzvah money.

brutal d zone play though. that's why they lost. no other reason.
