They are looking but I don't think you'll see anything to the offseason so they can interview the full list of candidates plus someone like Tallon would need to be released by his team
- Upstate_isles

They need to hire someone quickly right after the season especially if they miss the playoffs. It's a big offseason with the expansion draft and they can talk to JT about a contract. I get the owners wanting to find the right person, but this cannot turn into a 2 year affair. They need to send out the feelers to Tallon now. He would be the one hire that could not be questioned.

EK has Duclair to the Isles. Why would they move him so soon? Garth has to be worried about reports the owners are looking to hire a president.

Hall: 2 goals today...2nd game back from injury.
So glad we have our cap friendly defenseman tho....it's helping so much...just like 3 goalies has saved the day this season.

Devils were losing that game.

Garth should be having nightmares about missing out on Hall.

Grabner scored his 13th goal for the Rags today. A shame that Cappy wouldn't let him out of his doghouse. The guy is on pace for a 40-goal season.

Worse than the whole dog house thing was the fact that Crappy had no idea how to use the guy. Sure he missed a ton of chances with the Isles, but he was effective at keeping the opposing defense on their heels.

I always liked Grabner even with his stone hands. I'll take scoring on 15% of the breakaways if the player is getting a breakaway per game*.

* I made up the 15% and the one breakaway per game. I have no idea what the real numbers are.

He caused havoc and generated chances even when not scoring. Grabner had some nagging injuries with the Isles that did not help. Cappy still did not what he had in Grabner though.

Combination of injuries, healthy scratches, and just plain misuse by Cappy led to the "barely nothing after".....
