I hate these 3 point games. 9-10 record with plenty of games to play should not be such an uphill climb.
I love the idea of Tallon being brought in. I would love Patty coming back as an FU to Wang, but Patty worries me after what happened with the Isles and Buffalo. - ses111
Tallon would be a great hire. I'd love to see the isles bring him aboard. They should definitely explore that avenue.
It's just great to see that the Isles' new ownership recognizes that they need to do something here. Very encouraging, but let's see where it goes.

They are looking but I don't think you'll see anything to the offseason so they can interview the full list of candidates plus someone like Tallon would need to be released by his team
You said a 1st round pick shouldn't sit in the Presser period. They should be sent down.
That statement is wrong. Don't zig don't zag with talent or makeup of a team. Beau is NHL ready and there's nothing wrong with him learning from watching a couple games or so in a suit if he makes some mistakes.
Many first round draft choices sit in the press box in there first year and even their second. You think Barzal is learning the NHL game better Beau right now? Not a chance.
Go ask Babcock, but you'll have to go to Tornto - nyisles7
Correct. depending on team and how roster is assembled, or should I go back and get that part again..?? I dont zig-zag like u, I'm always 1 up ...

Saying a first rounder shouldn't sit even adding the " depending on the roster or make up of the team BS" I would say he's smoking any which way he can, and a lot .

Did Nino deserve to sit? Did he deserve to rot on 4th line and barely play when team had nothing but JT? Again depending on roster assembled, so at least team gets an idea of what type of player they drafted..

Making Tallon Pres and GM works for me. Patty you would worry about him fighting with a GM and he takes off again. I posted yesterday that Patty should have to work his way up to a big job again. Tallon and Jimmy D would be who I am looking for.

Nope Nino was mis used and poorly handled by the Isles. The fact he played on the fourth line when he did get minutes I have more of a problem with them sitting him.
Again there is nothing wrong with keeping a young player in the presser once in a while and keeping him up with with the NHL team as part of his developement.
Practicing with the big club and learning how to be a pro from the pros is all part of becoming a pro.
I don't care what team or what the roster of the team looks like.
Now if you say it depends on the player them selves then it certainly maters
But we will agree to disagree on this one that's the beauty of opinions.
It's a shock tactic to his team by saying they are as bad as the isles - Upstate_isles
I do think it's true what he says about the talent and parity of the league.
That said in hard Cap controlled leagues like the NFL and NHL in my opinion, because of said parity coaching and management is is of utmost importance.

Yep! You have to be able to develop your own talent and cannot go out and buy or trade for an all-star team. Coaching and management is key.
