Was just told by a leafs fan that Pulock is a bust because he is 22 and just cracked the lineup

Tallon would be my choice but they'd have to wait till after the season. Patty has left 2 jobs rather abruptly so I'm on the fence there although he was my favorite player as a kid

agree about Patty...maybe better going with new people..patty might want neil smith back..lol

Puck possession as opposed to a simple system

Also you've all been waiting for this and Ladd takes a semi swipe about the line changes

I'm just curious if someone was told to leak information. Seems strange that a "source" said that's who has been spoken to, but an Isles spokesperson said it never happened. Could it be a ploy by the owners to quell the outrage of isles fans?

So am i, but you know my stance. I'm tired of talk from ownership. That's all its been for the last couple decades. I hope something happens.

That is the penultimate in GM's throughout the league. Wouldn't be surprised if he fields calls from 29 teams on a daily basis.

Does not surprise me an Isles spokesperson denied it. Have to think a President will be hired. Strange timing the news comes out after a 3 game winning streak and not when they were really struggling.

Alsways happy to help

Yeah imagine sending that smooth skating assist machine back to the AHL?

Honestly IHM, I don't want him doing a thing with any assists this team may have.
He's done enough as far as I'm concerned and it's time for a change for me.

I think L and M will bring someone in whether it's a president of hockey operations and Snow stays as GM depends on the success of this season.

Just wait until Garth adds some more goalies and D and he will really be ready to deal.

I wish Ledecky and Malkin had a president in place in July when they took over. They did have two years to think about names. Sadly Isles fans are becoming experts at waiting.

You said a 1st round pick shouldn't sit in the Presser period. They should be sent down.
That statement is wrong. Don't zig don't zag with talent or makeup of a team. Beau is NHL ready and there's nothing wrong with him learning from watching a couple games or so in a suit if he makes some mistakes.

Many first round draft choices sit in the press box in there first year and even their second. You think Barzal is learning the NHL game better Beau right now? Not a chance.

Go ask Babcock, but you'll have to go to Tornto

Yeah, I just don't think Wang was going to go that route and with FA and the draft With the Majority ownership switch then, I don't think it made sense. Just my opinion though.

Could Wang even stop it? They could have just named the president as soon as they took over in July. Does not mean Garth and Cappy would have been out. I get not firing them then and after the team finally won a round. I just hate the waiting. Curse this article and getting my hopes up for a new president.

I think it happens. They want a top notch team.
What better way to keep JT than hire his agent as President of hockey ops

Honestly though, those 2 years went like this. Playoffs-lose in first round. 2nd year-lose in second round. There was optimism there. They had no clue, like us, that the season would start like this. A little hats to blame them for not making a change.

Totally agree, there was progress no matter how long it took the last 2 years the team did make positive strides.

I didn't want to hear something, I wanted to see something happen. I've resigned myself to the fact that nothing will happen this season. Maybe even next season. I'll reserve judgment of the owners until the end of the season. But I'm not optimistic.

Yeah, I can't fault them for not making a move then, but, I don't know. I'm just tired of bullpoop owners and their rah, rah speeches. It's just me. I'm an action oriented person. I don't want attention, I just want results.

It is promising. Should be a very interesting remainder to the season and offseason.
