Puju plays the side we probably covet more at present .
I think he's gonna be a great player.
Not the true snipe that laine is, but potentially more valuable in other areas.
He's got a ton of tools
I think we'll be very very happy with the pick in the Not too distant future - HB77
I am excited for Puju also. Not NHL ready this year. Only ten players or less with that shot Laine has. Not many NHLers can score from twenty feet out anymore. Wouldnt hurt my feelings if i didnt see that shot tonight. |

I heard he has to get his old lady to stand on the roof with a tin foil hat to get anything close to a decent picture in Morley.

At some point we do need to do whats best in the long term for the player and not whats best for the team in the short term.
See Schultz, Justin - LittleRickyV2
Excellent thought/idea/plan.
Can you please tell that to Crapuano & Snowjob? They're total player development fukholes.
See Bailey, Strome, Mayfield, Pelech, lee, etc. |

Do you want to compare standings?
Our GM sits in his office playing with a box of puppies all day instead of trying to find a first line winger for JT. Yours? |

All you had to do was trade us Hamonic for Eberle and we would still have Hall and no Lucic. |

Wanted Hall. You mean you'd rather have Hall than Looch? |

Besides, there was several Oil fans that said Hamonic was never in play for anyone. Larsson was the first and only target. Either way, it wouldn't have mattered if it was Hall or Eb since Crappy would have ruined either of them anyway. |

Somehow I doubt anyone said that- especially not in these threads. |

Oilers are going to lose. Hard. Laine will use tonight to get back into a groove and after last game, I wouldn't be surprised if the Oilers aren't ready to take on the task of shutting down one of the best lines in hockey (Ehlers- Schiefele- Laine). Wheeler also kills us on the reg.
Gonna preempt the game by saying "(frank) you, Dustin Byfuglien". He's bound to deserve it at some point tonight. |

Don't remember if it was in here or an EK blog or which thread, but there was one or two that said that. They also said that Chia said Hammer wasn't talked about. |

Let me assure you, no Oilers fan believes that Larsson was the one and only target. Beyond that evidence that they pursued Jones and Hamonic last year, there are surely countless other Dmen they coveted and pursued. They more than likely only said it to grind the gears of Isles fans who felt like they'd missed out on Hall for Hamonic. |
