I've told Schwein that I can't wait for Bakersfield to come to town so I can his boy Brossoit into a puddle of jello. Berating and taunting the oppositions goalie is kind of my thing.
I am liking the Roadrunners, especially since they're in first place. They absolutely own Stockton (Calgary) and have beaten on Bakersfield. - Isleshockeyman

$80 bucks a seat is a little pricy. Hmmm, if I can find a $20 airline flight, then have Schwein take me the rest of the way and my beers, then I'm in. - Isleshockeyman
Upper level is only $60, if that helps
It's not like the upper level is that high. It's only a 15,000 seat arena. (a couple hundred seats bigger than the rink the Winnipeg Jets call home.)

I'm a long way from Saskatoon my Arizonian friend.
We can have a road trip through the blandest looking portion of my great nation.

True. But Oilers always rock the pre-season. I don't mind the paying the extra $ if it means I FINALLY get to see them win a game live. - Wildschwein
I know the feeling. I've been driving to CGY and EDM (and flew to VAN once) to watch Canes games for the past 6 years. This year is the first time I got to see them win one.

Congrats.
What did you do to celebrate such an occasion.?
I have my suspicions of course but I must admit I am somewhat uneducated in your Saskatchewanian culture.
$80 doesn't sound bad to me at all. Cheaper than Rogers place. - Wildschwein
$80 is a bit pricy for a pre-season game for mid-level seats. I got seats 3 rows up for the Coyotes-Isles game last year in Glendale for $100 each.
I guess I'm a little spoiled since my Roadrunners season tix are $15 a seat.
And I'm kind of cheap. Except for buying beers.
Nope. That's the cost of a 400ml water bottled in Saskatoon. - Wildschwein
I remember I was at a Don Cherry's restaurant in St. John's, and had just paid for my meal... I was about to leave when I asked for a water. As soon as missy gave it to me I started to drink, and she said that'll be $6.40... I nearly fainted. It was a 250ml bottle

That would probably only get you 3 beers at Rogers place.

Jesus!
Shortage of fresh water in the Newfoundland or what?
