re: couturier and schenn from yesterday: i only wish the conversation surrounding these two was that they've reached their potential and are consistent key pieces to this team...not injuries and which line and what position are they playing tonight. they've both been good at times, couturier the more well-rounded, but both need to be better (and frankly so does V [who started hot] and G).

Carchidi reported yesterday Schenn and Cousins have been flipped.

How do you figure? Weal and Leier are their 2 leading scorers. Both Stolarz and Lyon have been playing great in goal. Wilcox, NAK, and Fazleev are in the top-5 in +/- (as is Weal). Sure, Brennan, Carey, and Connor are contributing, but every AHL teams has those guys. The Phantoms are getting legit contributions from many of their young players.

He started with the Phantoms but got phased out of the lineup and then replaced by Swavely.

Saw on twitter that Schenn could be centering Konecny and Simmonds tonight. Could be interesting. Maybe, just maybe that if center can become a legit 2nd line center you have great depth with Giroux, Couturier, Schenn in the middle.

I agree, it's a bad hit, a penalty, and worthy of whatever punishment beyond that he gets. Slew foots are extremely dangerous, and not sure how that was missed.
