Enroth really sucked the air out of that game in the 1st min.

Atleast the leafs put up somewhat of a fight after the 1st period

They were type of dumps that kinda make you wish you stepped on the scale first. Being a man of science, I know you've done that when you felt a beast was ready to be moved.

Per @FriedgeHNIC, a decision on #Leafs Jared Cowen is expected on Dec. 7

Leafs suck. You traded so many good picks. 1960s are all you have. Your fan base is dying (quite literally) according to that Vancouver guy. You have no defense. Oh yeah, and game 7 2013. Ban me

They still didn't score, so probably a loss anyway. Just as well Andersen got the rest.

As unclean as it made me feel, I was all in cheering for Boston when they beat Vancouver.

It was probably my favourite pro sports championship, since the 92/93 Jays.

It was a great series too. I think almost everyone outside of Montreal and Vancouver wanted the Bruins to win. Talk about a series with two hated teams.

Paying for a post-secondary education?

Ridiculous... honestly he should take a page from the book of Glenn Beck and just go to the library to get his learn on

The reason you can't "fathom" it is because sometimes, you can be an unbearable fanboy.

You often come across as a know-it-all. You often bully or berate people when their opinion differs from yours and worse: You are so biased on your opinion, you actually DO believe the Avs are only one or two "analytical stats" away from being a good hockey team.

Once again (and no amount of "analytical B.S." is going to sugar-coat this), the Avs are cellar-dwellers before most of us are even singing "Jingle Bells". If you think the odd lucky bounce here and there or a little higher shooting percentage would have a large effect on the overall results this year, you are deluding yourself.

Most people who post here (other than the game-day trolls from other teams) ARE fans. Many of them have been posting here and following the Avs longer than you have. It might be frustrating to you that some people only come here to complain, but hey... It's a free country and this IS a DISCUSSION forum and to those of us who spend money on Center Ice and game tickets and spend hundreds of hours a year watching the Avs play, the years since Roy has been in net have, for the most part, been disappointing.

No, it doesn't help the TEAM a darn bit when people come here and complain (any more than it HELPS the team when you suggest lineups or post useless analytical stats) but sometimes, the best outlet people have for their frustrations IS to come here and complain and there is nothing wrong with that. They've got just as much right to their opinion as you do to yours.

So, next time you are tempted to go all fanboy on somebody who posts something you disagree with, maybe you should just bite your tongue and let them have their say.

If the Avs are tops of the league come Spring, you get to gloat about how right you were and we can all bow down to your superior knowledge. Until then, just keep in mind that RIGHT NOW, the Avs are next-to-last in the league and no statistical analyses is going to make that fact easier to swallow.

I get it.

So when the Senators trade away a pick or prospect .... It's "bad" becasue "the owner is cheap" or they received "an older player in return"............. but when the leaf do it, it's okay.

When the Senators had not signed impending UFA Ryan, he was going to Philadelphia because the Senators "were too cheap" ............ but when they did sign him " they are overpaying him" ........ but when the leafs overpay Andersen, it's okay, because "goaltenders are weird".

You leaf fans can't have it both ways.

Last thread carry over

Relax, nobody is saying "Blow it up and lets have a fire sale" There comes a point when your best players have to be held accountable. Just because you're part of the core doesn't mean you get to be a "passenger". Yes, the depth sucks. Yes, they will be great again. But you have to analyze which players are playing well and which players are sucking.

Nathan Mackinnon and Matt Duchene are the offensive drivers of this team. They give it all every single shift and Mikko Rantanen is rapidly joining their efforts to make the Avs a good team. Tyson Barrie is also considered to be part of the core group. However, this guy has struggled mightily and this isn't the first year he's done that. He's a liability in his own zone and pretends like he's a forward. This isn't his first or second year in this league. Yes, he is an offensive defenseman and will jump into the play and take a gamble to jump start the offense. I get it. But when your main job is to lock it down in your own end and you're consistently getting outmuscled to the puck and have trouble clearing the zone, something is wrong. I'm sick of hearing "Oh that's just what he does" When you cost your team in your own zone on a consistent basis, you shouldn't be looked at as a core player, but as someone that's expendable to bring in the right player.

Landeskog has been hurt, I wish him a speedy recovery and the Avs need him in the lineup ASAP. When healthy, he's been highly inconsistent offensively. He's also taken far too many stupid penatlties. He's cut down those penalties this season and I praise him for it. But when your team is down and needs some leadership to get the guys back on track, they need to hear it or see it from their captain and NOT a 4th liner trying to spark the team by fighting. I want more from Landy, f**ing man up and become the captain we all need you to be. Who the %^%% is the leader in that dressing room?? You have to have players like that. Jonathan Toews is a leader. Sidney Crosby is a leader. Dustin Byfuglien is a leader. Joe Pavelski is a leader. Patrice Bergeron is a leader. Why can't the Avalanche have a f*&*&ng leader??? Joe Sakic has been retired for the last 8-9 years? Time to WAKE UP and will someone lead this team for Pete's sake??
