The refereeing was horrible. It was off-set by the ridiculous diving.

I don't understand how the sport isn't considered to be a joke at this point. It is unbelievable nothing has changed.

i guess but a player of his caliber should be able to have a bigger affect on his national team. guy played in the premier league.

fully agreed, I only watched the first half and the ref decided to let them play but things just kept escalating. Like Yan said earlier, that's the main reason why I don't follow soccer, the constant diving and whining is just out of control.
