Sens are a good measuring stick though. Probably one of those teams they'll have to beat out if they want the last wild card spot.

Impressive. I would say good for him. Are we sad that he left? Not sure yet, like last year Nuevirth left and played great for Philly, but this year he has been a tire fire. Not saying Chad will have the same issues, just not sure yet.

He wanted to be a #1 and here we were not planning on doing so. He is only making $1.7m this year, if he keeps up numbers even close to where he is at, he will want $5 and I would not blame him.

Oh we did and thats part of what i was referring to. If you expect this team to compete for that spot, games against teams who are likely going to be competing for that same spot are fairly important.

It was just one game but there was a lot of foreshadowing for the rest of the season. There's really no other way to put it, we won because we have Eichel and as you just said hes not scoring 60 in 60. They're going to have to improve the roster via trade. Bogo and kulikov coming back will not impact the defense the same way Eichel coming back does for the offence.

I dont know where you got doomed season from my post. All i said was its a good measuring stick and improvements need to be made. Thats something most of us can agree on.

They got outshot and outchanced for most of the game, they're not going to win a lot of games that way. And as for Bogo and Kulikov, they're not going to change the complexion of the defence the way Eichel did for the forwards. The defence was a problem when they were in the lineup too. They're not youngsters who need time, they are who they are.
