Really tonights the first night?
- phyllee

yeah.
He stood out more tonight for me, having more responsibility and being relied on more. It was some defensive plays that actually stood out, as i knew that he was decent offensively.

Sportsnet coverage after Canucks win. Let's talk Leafs vs Oilers Mcdavid and Mathews 2.0 what will Kadri do

his cardio could use a little work.. i wonder if he's a smoker? near the end you see him leaning on his stick lol
- onesmallleap

He definitely still has much cardio work to do. But i also know from watching lots of pro tennis that guys that huge simply will never have the stamina of a smaller better proportioned guy. Too much energy needs to be expended moving that massive body around

I thought I was seeing things when that showed up on the screen.
Pretty entertaining game. Even 4th line skated well at both ends and provided contact when on ice. Tryamkin and Gudbranson look pretty good onPK.

I like the switch WD made where he put Chaput back on fourth line they looked good and he almost got a goal driving the net.

That made the 2/3 line better. Granlund between Guance and LE also looked good in both ends. Smart plays and pressure around the net. Got a goal too

I am polite in your room, please do the same here.

And I loved how I explained why Leafs fans think everyone across Canada think they are Canada's team and I ripped that apart------------ NO ONE responded.

Way to represent.

Stecher had to he was playing with Sbisa

But I did see him step up last game too after Edler was out. Like when he took out Power forward Iginla for example.

Sucks for Bae that he didnt get the free goal but glad they corrected it to help Horvats point total keep climbing been a while since someone not named sedin led the team in points...

Sounds Good. I would love to see the Sedin's get between 55 and 65 points this year. Anything else is Gravy. Horvat, I would hope, would get between 60 and 70.

A buddy of mine from Toronto told me the leafs are the most exciting team in the east. Another buddy corrected him and said the NHL. 😂

I told them they had 2 more points than the Canucks, and they went on to say that every game is end to end. They give up chances and they get chances. Hard to argue with leafs fan logic. Congrats on having the most exciting team. 👍

the fact that we lost 10 in a row, and are two wins out of first place in the division gives me a little hope on the season
