or... maybe people could evolve just a tad more and not insult people in a smarmy douche bag way because they think dudes pre-game ritual is silly. I don't know if you got the memo but being a troglodyte just isn't en vogue. Hockey is cool, manly aggressiveness is cool. Making fun of disabled people, not so much.

Hey, relax big guy. Evolution is an interesting choice of words because the R-Word goes back to the 1800's and wasn't considered derogatory for a long time. Sincere institutions looking to help handicapped people often used the R-word both conversationally and even in their organization's name. So as someone with a mentally disabled family member I appreciate your point, but I'd argue it's not exactly line the N word which has pretty much always been a demeaning word. Someone still using the r-word is certainly is somewhat offensive and probably more then they realize, but they don't need to be shouted down like a war criminal.
