This was to be expected, they opened things up offensively but the defense has been exposed as a result.

Difference here is that its unlikely the return of kulikov/bogosian will make a positive impact.

- Sabresfan-365

I agree
But the defensive mistakes can be corrected
Probably gonna take a bit to find a balance between opening it up offensively & still being responsible defensively
I'm not too worried

All along...
MOST of us thought we'd be a borderline playoff team
I don't think think that's changed at all

I'd like to see more of Kuli. Earlier in the year, he completely Zhitnik'd a PP point shot. Three feet too high, two feet too wide and teammates ducking for cover. It made me laugh out loud, and that's worth something.

Man Larsson has been brutal this game
- gordong

Larsson is painful to watch most nights. He fumbles with the puck all the time. He is not a 3rd line center. He is a very very fringe nhl player. Brian gionta why does he continually play 15 to 17 minutes a game. Bylsma we are not good, give younger players positive minute. Play baptiste 16 min a night. Even though inside the organization they say 28 has no idea how to play hockey,he wanders all the time(i agree),but i would rather see him play a few games on the top two lines, even it is to trade him. Is grant going to break and nhl record for most games played ina row without a goal. 61 games played 5 assists minus 14. Seriously murray,no one is better in the organization

That goal wasn't a result of opening things up, it was a result of whoever, not taking their man and tying him up in front of the net and letting Hoffman get his stick on the puck.

I dont mean that play specifically, i mean in general. You watch the way they're playing now that has been the result. Its a tradeoff you tend to see when a team simply doesnt have enough talent/balance on the blueline.

2 was good, but nothing tops the original. I was 5 I think when the first one came out, so I was too young really, but growing up we had it on VHS and I would watch it a few times a year. There's a fan theory that John Candy is really the devil in the movie it's pretty interesting.

Come on
The Foligno-Larsson-Gionta line has been pretty solid all year
Especially defensively

You cant win in the nhl, with those three as your 3rd line..63 games ,11 goals...that is a great offensive year for those three..larsson minus 6

The original is great too
We watch both around the holiday season

Elf has been added to the list too

Some other classics we watch are
Charlie Brown Christmas, Muppets Christmas Carol, Gremlins

My parents put on some of the older movies like It's a Wonderful Life as well
