Crow first star, second star and maybe even third star. Maybe Panik gets a star.

Crawford was good. Doesn't look good for AA. He seemed like he was in a lot of pain.

Good for Panik to score after the long drought.

Another game another one and done show. No one in front of Luongo to screen or put a rebound in. Every game I watch, shades of 2012, boy do we need some meat and potato forwards.

Lets hope NOT !! That would mean increased ice time for Krueger......... holy crap that's a frightening thought....... he would get about 20 minutes of ice time with Toews and Anisimov out and still NOT get a shot on goal !!!! Pathetic.....

I am surprised Panik did not get the " second star of the game" instead they gave it to Panarin...he din't look that good... Not his best effort IMO.

Once again the Hawks get outplayed but still win! Sooner or later the Hawks veterans got to play much better or the team will have a very difficult time to continue winning. Our rookies are doing there job.

I agree. But the 3 stars of the Hawks is usually a dog and pony show anyway. And the post game interview is always a chance for the player to patronize the fans. Yea Yea Yea we get it the fans are super dooper, if the player doesn't say it, the interviewer always makes sure the player placates..Hawks post game interviews are almost as bad as Nascar it's so canned.

Good point! Kaner is the biggest super duper with the fans but at least he doesn't mention his beautiful sisters like he use to do a few years. ... Maybe his sisters are married now. ..and yes post game show is so predictable, no substance.. Just a lot of bull.

Wow would think we lost ,with all the grumbling on here .This game had trouble written all over it . Other team has new coach , HAWKS playing 1st game after long road trip .What was the stat Eddie pulled out after a roadie over 5 games home team loses 67% time . HAWKS players are gutting out some tough games right now , good for them ..GO HAWKS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Artemi Panarin was asked about his shootout goal during #Blackhawks' 2-1 victory over Panthers: "You should ask the goalie."

As if on cue, Luongo posted this Tweet along with the gif of Panarin's goal right after the game.

I think you're being too harsh, too hard to judge with no Toews and makeshift lines. Not to mention no AA for most of the 3rd and OT.

I agree about getting more net front presence but overall this team has potential to be better than the 2012 version and is currently in 1st place in the conference.

Have you been watching the last 8 Hawk games? The veterans must have looked good to you. If Crawford/Darling didn't play lights out we would most likely would have had 2 wins and 6 losses. Nobody is complaining about our rookies.., they have played great. I rather see a little grumbling about certain players than sugar coat their Play so far... You know the players .

You guys are right on with the net presence of the Hawks.. No Shaws bringing havoc in front of the goalie/ no cheap rebound goals.

Wow some are never happy I guess ,And yes I have been watching all the games .And been very proud of this teams effort from top to bottom . They are in 1st in the West and 3rd overall .Sure Crow has played great ,show me a top team that does not get great goaltending , Price steals games all the time for Montreal and Holtby also . Loungo made some big saves tonight . You don't here their fans moaning ,rather more like enjoying a great player , playing for their team . A wins a win and they don't ask how but how many .. This team has some great young players and real team spirit ..GO HAWKS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

Just the addition of Brian Campbell makes this a better team than last year's -- although the defense still relies too heavily on their goaltending to bail them out. In 5v5 play, here are the league's current leaders in Save Percentage:

95.19% - Chicago
94.65% - Minnesota
94.23% - Montreal
94.07% - Washington
93.82% - Buffalo

Interesting to note that Forsling saw the pine a lot more tonight. Under 11 minutes after regulation.
- breadbag

Forsling got hurt on a play in the 2nd period if I remember correctly. He was taken to the locker room and managed to come back out. Could be the coaching staff just taking it easy on him in case he reaggravated
