Right now might be the best time for the rebuild push for the Canucks. They can really see if what they got in players like Stecher, Tree, Baer etc can handle more.

Their play not Canuck wins necessarily would give Management the inclination to trade injured players of value by the TDL. Tanev, Edler and Hanson can be the vets on the block. Burr can join them if he keeps up his rejuvenated play.

The smart move would to deal these players for draft picks or young prospects. Then the Canucks can also see what they have in Rodin and other bubble players. Even JV could have a run again somewhat like the back half of least season.

It is pretty hard to score 22 -31-27 when you have Henrik in front of you eating up all the minutes an getting all the PP.

I dont normally throw out proposals, but from the last thread: Nichushkin (though he signed a 2-year deal in the KHL) is eligible to be taken in the expansion draft. I dont think Vegas uses a pick on him as Dallas has other decent assets, but would anyone considering a deal of Hansen for him? Just thinking of Dallas' win-now situation vs Vancouver affording the ability to let Nichushkin play out his deal and having an opportunity for him when he returns

Thats true, i dont think those two come out of the lineup for the rest of the year unless for a rest day on back to backs or injury.
