Oh well i forgot about that part, alright i retract my statement i wouldnt trade any top prospects other then Virtanen for Jost
- phyllee

Sounds more like One step forward two steps back. Why trade top prospects at all?

We've decided that Bo's worth more as a trading chip. He's as good as gone. It sucks but we have to concentrate on the rebuild.

so where's the freakshow with Luca being on the top pairing???

i'm confused? This is HB...?

sign Bo 5.25 for 8 years and be done with it

- onesmallleap

Sbisa most consistent LD now.

Edit: most exciting time for Canucks. Players left show what they got so these injured vets can be traded for picks to enhance the rebuild.

Careful, rationality and logic are not looked upon very well on this board.

Ok, Demko and stecher no. Juolevi if Colorado added a second or something, i wanted to trade down for Jost after who was all selected top 4
- phyllee

ewww, Juolevi is developing nicely in the O. No way I would trade him for Jost. When we finish bottom 5 we will be able to draft a better center IMO.

This is the same board that beat down on Edler until when he went down and we lost almost every game without him, he didn't miss out on much. Sbisa has been steadily improving.

I read them. Plus media hysteria on him. He was thought as a top four after contract. Wasn't ready for that role on depleted Canuck D.

This draft is weeeeaaakkkk. I hear and see. Not just low on top end talent. Lack of skilled players.

People forget it wasn't only Edler . After the night in Col when we lost Sutter and Edler , JB started icing an AHL roster . They never made any trades but instead accepted the tank and dressed Grenier Tryamkin McCann Gaunce Virtanen and other Comets

From what I've seen there are 4 centers tracking better than Jost in this draft. No superstars but lots of high end prospects

I'm a little suspect about him getting increased minutes still. There's a good case to be argued that his reduction has really made a big difference.

Still, there's only one way to settle that argument

Injuries spell end to bubble placing goals. Value for injured players won't go up in lost season. Best to trade upon return. Good play of newbies could push management to pull the trigger.

Exactly. Great time to see exactly what they have before exposing him

Id let go of any canuck/prospect aside from Horvat and Boeser for Jost hands down
- phyllee

Agreed. When I suggested we take him at the draft it didn't go over very well though. Benning just wasn't listening to me I guess,

4? Considering I heard Patrick would have probably gone 5th at best last year and he is heads above literally anyone in the draft.

You are right on playing time. But who's left for LD that have shown they are ready for more? No choice mistakes or not he'll have to manage.

Vilardi, Patrick, Middlestad and Hischier...I think first overall is very much up in the air from what over read. There should be a lot of movement at the top. Vilardi and Patrick's injuries aren't helping
