The scrappy player that max domi is reminds me a lot of wendel clark. He's plays with passion which for him is one step up from being a committed hockey player. Love to see him in blue and white playing on Matthews left or with Marner. I WOULD trade Nylander and put kappenan Leivo and high draft pick to get OEL AND DONI

How awesome is it that Vancouver is far and away the worst team in the league. Compound that with no desirable prospects. It's like watching the Leafs of the last decade from the other side of the lens.

He was close...once. I can remember it being a drizzly Sunday in December. 2014 actually. Cool, grey...but warm, because he was there. He took me for coffee. I hate coffee. STill do. But he was there, that made it great. I can remember the smell of the shop. Deep, dark roasted coffee permeated the air. We weren't the only ones there. I'd say maybe another dozen or so couples of either lovers, or friends, or even first time acquaintances. It was quite though, seemed fitting. Sunday morning, coffee, quiet. I looked at him as I sipped as what I could only assume was some generic brand that people first experimented on. He looked at me across from his seat. lol, I remember he had whipped cream on his. He took a drink and had a little dollop on the tip of his nose...very tv-esque. After that slight chuckle though I knew it wasn't going to end the way he wanted, he asked me.

"weirdoh, we've been bantering long enough on cyber space. "

He got up, knelt beside the table.

"Maybe it's time we were legit?"

I was shocked, I knew from the very start that I didn't want this, in fact, I think he didn't want this either. I paused. Looked at him, then to the lady who was holding her hands to her mouth in surprise.

"You told me there would be bacon"

I left.
