Your argument that no one gets suspended during a cup final. The Pronger incident was 4 years after the stevens incident.

That's a great title, but still doesn't explain your lack of reading comprehension.
- BINGO!

I can explain that. You're the one with garbage comprehension skills and got confused as to what I was contesting.

I referred to the "Not even remotely true" quote. It obviously has truth to it, and it's recognized around the league that Tippett has a major say in personel decisions.

If I skate poorly enough to allow Lucic to regularly hit me I am going to retire.

Over 1800 hits..it's not your skating that's holding you back from the NHL.

From what I've heard, John Chayka makes all the personnel decisions.

Until he goes to bed at 8:30 pm, and then Tippet takes over.

Look on the bright side:

While many of you here today have demonstrated you are incredibly stupid, you still aren't this stupid:

In all fairness, people can't pick up on your grade three grammar skills in "real life". If, every time you spoke, a little voice box popped out (a la comic books), you would be called an idiot quite frequently

Your misuse of the word "your" is my favourite. You truly have no clue how to use that word, despite how often you remind us of your supreme intellect (Hey! Hey everyone! I read novels! Look! Novels!!)

I bet you're (see what I did there?) the type of dude who sits in the window-facing seat at Starbucks on a busy afternoon, holding your copy of a William Faulkner novel high up for everyone to see, while not actually reading any of it

- AxlRose91

Despite possible typos that would give you the wrong idea - which isn't really my fault, I don't have an editor - I can assure that I know how to use grammar properly.

In fact, of all the things you could possibly take me to task on, this is the most ridiculous one.

In real life (for real, no joke) I hold both a cum laude four year honor's degree, and a Master's in English Lit, and have taught English at both a university and a college - including grammar, essay composition and Creative Writing.

I can't wait for your take on how Obama is a terrible public speaker and how Paul Coffey can't skate.

So, please, by all means, try harder with your trolling.

Major say, yes. Not "Most of."
- BINGO!

Wonder if Tippett has veto power over Chayka's decisons.. Until we can definitively say "yes" then it is just major/significant. Common sense would say Tippett can veto the 27 year old GM's decisions. This is a multi-million dollar sports franchise, after all. Guess we'll have to wait and see if any reporters can clarify further.

That said, you can't definitely say he doesn't have "most" of the say either. I atleast brought a source that put his control over decisions at "significant".

If only we could get Frank Seravalli to define what he meant by "significant"..

Did anyone teach you what a run-on sentence was during all of that time studying and teaching English?

You should call DeVry and get your (Y-O-U-R) money back, because your grammar is atrocious

Please don't misconstrue your inability to comprehend the English language. These are not "typos" - please don't do that. You're deflecting - it's what you always do when confronted by someone who is clearly out of your league. Kinda like earlier, when you tried to brush off that Mashinder dude after he completely eviscerated you.

You simply cannot distinguish between "your" and "you're". I'm not sure why you're getting bent out of shape. Grammar isn't your thing. Who cares? You write an entertaining blog. This isn't the Wall Street Journal

By the way - LOVE that you've anointed yourself the Paul Coffey / Obama of grammar. Classic. Realistically, I'd say you're the Cory Cross of grammar. Or, if we're using presidential analogies....I'm afraid you might be the Trump of grammar....

- AxlRose91

Does this amuse you? I hope so, because it doesn't insult me, if that's your point. What you're doing is no different, or less ridiculous, than pretending that a professional hockey player doesn't know how to tie his skates.

I mean, your/you're is something you learn in grade two or three. I hold a Masters in the subject you're questioning me about - from a good university too, (Ryerson).

You could do better than this. Honestly, it's a pathetic attempt.

Agreed. Most people with even a basic level of education are able to grasp the your / you're thing quite easily. Which is why it's so fascinating to me that you constantly use them improperly

You do it all the time. And each time I laugh a little bit. So to answer your question, yes, I suppose it does amuse me

Yeah, it sure is terrible. Just in the same way I don't watch the games, and that hitting is overrated means never hit. Gotcha.

Statistically speaking, his grammatical errors are just outliers and, therefore, irrelevant.
