interesting.

leivo is just a throw-in. might turn into something, but who knows.

carrick has played decent for us, seems like he has some offensive upside.

Maybe not this deal, but if for whatever reason you guys are looking to move hamillton, Toronto might be a good trading partner.

I just don't see why tbe flames are moving a D man of hamiltons age and ability right now ...if kylington, Andersson, kulak, etc all develop into top 4 guys then sure let's talk about Dougie but until then your not gaining enough IMO

Wasn't able to watch the game last night...how was the Janitor looking? Still another 6 years away?

JVR is not what this team needs, Carrick ins't going to fill Hamiltons spot and Leivo is a throw in.

So we basically get a pretty good winger on a really good contract for another year after this one who is going to want a big raise, a 5-7 defenseman and a throw in.

Im gonna say NAY

This conversation would have to start with Nylander ++ minimum IMO

- DinoRondelly

Nylander would be an appropriate starting point, but the ++ would have to be of pretty negligible pieces to make it fair for Toronto.

Uninspiring.

I fear he may require another extensive stretch of seasoning.

yeah, value wise nylander straight up for hamilton seems pretty close.

leafs are better off waiting to see if a team with a glut of dmen like minny could use jvr than making that deal imo.

He looked really good in the limited ice time and was really good on faceoffs. He earned a few more games IMO.

He looked like he belonged. Used his body well, threw a hit or two and was crushing it in the dot.
