I honestly don't know why people always use that argument with regards to 'developing power-fowards'.

This bloody fan base has used that narrative to justify/defend the ineptitude of White, Pyatt, Greneir, Kassian, Virtanen etc.

In Todd's first ever NHL season he put up 18 goals and 39 points lol.
Even our new god-send Bo Horvat failed to produce those numbers...

This morning we sit in 25 th spot and one win away for tied for 19 th. We are doing it without Tanev and Hansen .

Teams that have been building for years through the draft are all one point away from us. We don't need to make a desperate move we need to make smart moves.

No to Kane, he hasn't produced enough over the last few yrs. he isn't worth the 5.35mil a yr. Besides, Buffalo isn't giving him up for a used water bottle and a few pucks.

As for JV, I wouldn't give up on him until he spends a cpl yrs in Utica learning (mentally) to be a pro. He has a lot of good physical tools, he just needs someone to help teach him the game.

Buffalo isn't trading Reinhart, but that is the type of player Van should trade Tanev or Edler for. A young player with solid potential, not a guy like Kane.

kane scored 30 goals 5 years ago I believe and buffalo is going by that, stay away from him jb for god sakes unless you use patience and wait until desperation sets in and we could get him for peanuts, the guys a problem and buffalo screwed up.

I would be okay with Logan Brown. I seen him play a few times last year. He looks like he could be good.
