Tuesday. Sabres only recalled one forward today instead of the two they sent back down.

How about Fasching doing with injury?

- Lilroot9

Haven't heard anything about Fasching. Groin, that's all I've heard

Only difference is the Panthers were supposed to be contenders the sabres aren't. The goal is squeaking into the playoffs.

Florida also has a winning record. With injuries.

We just lose, and it's totally cool

As much as everyone loves to rag on him, Ted Nolan would have more W's with this team

We'll, the decision is getting Flaorida's GM referred to as "the most clueless front office in hockey" so maybe not something to emulate.

In the eyes of many of his players, Gallant was viewed as a players' coach, one who cared for and looked out for his players.

Not that it ultimately matters in terms of decision, but safe to say FLA players largely disappointed/unhappy at Gallant being fired.

Florida ownership taking a beating privately around the hockey community. Gallant is a highly respected and well liked hockey man.

I told everyone Girgensons was a bum, guy scored 6 goals in an AHL season, sure he had 15 goals when his Dad Nolan was coach playing 20 minutes a game but the guy stick handles puck with his head down, can't make plays and can't win faceoffs...I remember people saying "he's future captain" and face of the franchise lol...just thought I'd chime in years later to quote brainy smurf "I was right I was right"

I remember when Matthew Coller said "I wouldn't trade Girgensons for Nathan Mackinnon"...lol. "At age 19 one of best two was centers in league" ha ha

What a great GM we have giving long term deal to Moulson. Slowest team in league what a joke. Blows a first round pick on a goalie who's always injured and have proven zero

A) Nobody said that, maybe about Grigorenko, but not Girgensons. And he was the type of player that is captain material. Skilled and never took shifts off, then he broke his leg and hasn't been the same since. I get not being as effective under a different system, but he's an entirely different player, doesn't go to the net anymore, doesn't hit anymore, can't pass for poop nor shoot for poop anymore. As a 4C/W or 13th forward on a dirt cheap contract I'm fine with him, he's still young and maybe he can turn it around, and if not no big loss.

B) Look at who you're quoting. Coller is a moron. Pretty sure there was a love fest with Pysyk and his awesome 4' passes too.

Moulson was the only guy willing to play here, and it took an overpayment. Slowest team, no, but it has to do with no one being able to pass, or receive a pass, speed is more about completing passes up the ice. If a guy has to stop and reach behind himself for a pass even Afinogenov would look slow. And not having the puck bounce over your stick when you're taking a pass. That "blown" 1st round pick posted the 4th best SV% last year and is off to a good start again this year. He sucks in the shoot out, I'll give you that. No goalie that was available "proved" anything. And he had 1 injury with us, yeah, always injured though...

Point is people rip Murray but I can argue he is top 10 GM in league and for Buffalo, that will be best we will ever be. Hard to get the best of anything here.

Say what you will about TyGod, but there isn't a QB with his escape-ability in the pocket. There are guys like Roethlisballs, Rodgers and Brady who can shift away from pressure, but no one moves quite like he does. How many times does more than one guy have a hand on him in the pocket and is unable to bring him down? And his lateral movement is second to none too. If he just got his damn footwork down he wouldn't miss those easy throws. But when he does he throws that bomb to Sammy, picture perfect, in stride.

Yet they stay an extra second in the pocket and find the big play while Tyrod's first instinct is to start moving and maybe 1 out of 6 he gets good yards.

Teams are figuring out how to defend him, just like any other gimmick quarterback that has gone through this league.

Florida won the division last year too. Did we do that?

Also their GM is going to be "interim" head coach for the rest of the year. Does that sound like a good move? Not to me.
