Win or lose I consider the trip a success especially since the captain has been out for the last 2 games.

They really need to work on shooting more and shot accuracy absolutely brutal tonight with the golden chances they had tonight and completely missed the net

7 Points in 7 road games playing some of the ugliest hockey we've seen in a long time.

Wow Nik actually moves out of the way of the shot, typically doesn't make mistakes like that.

We got blown away at the dot and still almost win this game.

I know the Hawks have come back to the pack but imho Kings really don't look that good.

Agreed. Shutout twice, played without Tazer for two games and for six rookies, this was their longest road trip. It could have been worse but getting basically a point per game is a solid outcome.

Rule check - how come, when in an OT penalty situation, there is no issue with the 4th man staying out on the ice beyond the end of the penalty? Understand it would be a weird stoppage of flow/play to blow the whistle and get the extra guy off the ice, but it allows for the advantage to extend beyond the allotted time.

No advantage - it becomes 4x4 until the next stoppage.

Another nice thing to see was they only allowed 2 goals per game in California big difference than over 3 in Canada

I give the Hawks credit for playing great defense on the last game of a grueling 7 day road trip. They had no legs left in O/T trying to kill the penalty. Our young guns held their own. To be honest they played better than our veterans. Not pretty but I will take the point.

Could have been worse. You got to remember we got 5 rookies in the lineup... That will bring some hiccup to the game...doen't you think ?

As bad as the Hawks played in parts, the Kings looked almost as bad. So disorganized in their own end and if the Hawks had any legs and finish, this game would have been no contest.

Glad to see no team in the west appears to be running away with it, because the Hawks don't seem to be.
