The longer the season goes the less Shattenkirk will be worth. Why? He is a UFA. Teams like Toronto, who are rebuilding, or for that matter any team, can get him for only money next year. Look at what other UFA's have gone for in the past. If he is still with St Louis at the trade deadline St Louis will just keep him since they have cup dreams |

If we are in on Shatty or anyone else for that matter, I hope for our sake we don't trade away our first rounders for the next couple seasons, McAvoy, Pasta or Bergy or Marchand obviously.
