for all the expansion draft talkers: leivo, rychel and leipsic don't need to be protected if they don't play a specific number of games. that's part of the reason why rychel is in ahl.
and komarov and martin will be protected earlier than leivo and leipsic

His numbers in the nhl aren't terrible, but ive never seen him play. I really don't understand why he's been so bad. Really expected a lot more.

I've been in a couple bitterly contested hockey pools for years. One buddy is a Leafs chirper and was all over me and my Leafy friend for actively competing with each other to steal this year's prized Leaf rookies. We got mocked hard for drafting Marner, Matthews and Nylander 'early'. Now this Leafs rookie class is on pace to break records. It's beautiful.
