The league has yet to respond to my numerous e-mails asking how a player still under contract with a team can also be employed by the NHL.

Seriously, I've sent like 3 e-mails and I got NO answers.

Just you wait. The Coyotes will leave Ponger to be claimed on the expansion draft.

Then Datsyuk and Kovalchuk come back on one year deals with Las Vegas.

The cheap little hooks and cross checks when the play is nowhere near him
- TheMussel

Who is he doing that to if the play is no way near him?
I'm not saying he doesn't take shots, I love that he makes them pay a little for playing a strategy that borders on interference. Can't beat him cleanly so they play him a little dirty, and he plays them a little dirty right back. He used to tip the players helmets with his blocker so that it came down over their eyes.

Probably cause they play the most 5 on 5, judging by how few power plays they get.

Sounds like buddy I played highschool soccer with - whenever there was a corner, free kick or any situation where lots of players grouped together he would always pick one guy from the other team and pinch a bit of skin on the back of their arms... would drive them (frank)ing nuts
