That tying goal was BS. All my Vancouver friends say the league's conspiring to benefit the Leafs, WTF - I guess this was so they could have something to point to later on as evidence to their innocence.

Anyway, patience with the D. There's no need to go forcing a trade to get this team into the playoffs. There should be decent D upgrades available for pennies on the dollar leading up to the expansion draft. No, we're not going to get that 1st pairing stud, but the bottom pairs clearly need upgrading.

Free Agent list is pretty poop this year.

Shattenkirk and Kulikov are okay. But will likely be signed before they reach UFA.

Then we got Markov, Oduya and Streit. Really old and will likely sign for a Cup elsewhere.

Michael Stone would be alright to add...but will probably be re-signed too.

Tanev - very underrated, played excellent hockey with Rielly at the worlds, and plays for a team with a less than intelligent GM...
