Gardiner;s been fine, and Carrick has been serviceable. You do realize we finished in 30th place last season and our leading scorer last year had 45 points. I see marked improvement all round, especially with like 6 guys on pace for more than 50 points, and 4 with more than 60. Patience....and you don't trade away Nylander's at this stage.

I'm not sure what's all the love for Carrick... Right now, I find him way to soft in the defensive zone and he looks super lost in the PP (wtf are you doing there in the first place?)

He's got potential.. but he's not there yet... I would rather have a Valiev at 215 lbs playing Defense on the Leafs... we have enough offensive D...

Not sure what you're watching....but Rielly hasnt been any better than Carrick/Gardiner.
