Don't bother, had enough of his insults, he's gone for a couple days, looking into the poster. - LeafMan
He was fine until that one post. I have no issues with a guy having a different opinion, hence I was laying out what I thought the other side of the argument is. But that one post.... |

Rielly, and Gardiner or Carrick to protect on D.
Trade one of Gardiner and Carrick (++) to Stl for Shattenkirk for example.
No issues with expansion draft. |

I'd have to agree with Goalie Interference....his skate totally takes away his stick and blocker.

Yup. Definitely not an intentional or punishable goalie interference, but interference nonetheless... |

But then you possibly have to overpay Shattenkirk to get an extension done. If he's gonna get paid, why not just pay him without giving up assets? Again, what's the goal this season? To make the playoffs or find out what we have?
Like I have no problem with the deal, I just think its one more season of holding what we have to see what they are. 20 games in, I'm still not sure. |

BABCOCK AT $8MILKION a year? Look at the system he has them playing?
At $8million still beaten by Carolina and jersey. Canes put babs to shame - BreathLeafs2015

I don't think it's nearly as obvious as you were saying. I still think it was a good goal. Honestly. |

THe forwards are responding well to him, A+ there. I'd like to figure out what he's doing with the d. |

make playoffs - Leafs already (should) know what they have:
3 future top 6 FW players in Nylander, Matthews, Marner (last two potential superstars).
2 good young top 4 d-men (Zaitsev, Rielly).
A proper starting goalie in Andersen, with potential new starter coming up in 3-4years in Woll. (if that's his name).
Plus a very strong pipeline of young prospects to fill out other FW positions (need 1 more topline guy probably) and bottom 2 D. |

Free Agent list is pretty poop this year.
Shattenkirk and Kulikov are okay. But will likely be signed before they reach UFA.
Then we got Markov, Oduya and Streit. Really old and will likely sign for a Cup elsewhere.
Michael Stone would be alright to add...but will probably be re-signed too.
Alzner? |

He's clearly in the crease obstructing enroth stick and blocker. That is textbook. No question. |

A good d-man will be available in Washington or Minnesota at the end of the season. I'm sure there are other teams too. ie. Anaheim. |

I understand this is a fantasy world, but how do you expect Toronto to get Shattenkirk and still have room to resign the kids when they come up? Shattenkirk is going to make between 6.75-7.25 mil. That would be foolish for Toronto. |

You should be able to review with no timeout also - give a 2min minor if wrong to prevent it being misused... - lumlums
The nhl head office should've call the ref to tell them it was a no goal. Same thing they do in the playoffs. |
