Well ok, people would still hate on Edler in this thread if he got 70-80 points, you've got me there. I was posting in response to Burn's new contract of 8x8. Edler does not have his durability or offensive ability. He's arguably better defensively. Burns is signed until he's 40... seems that some guys can do that (thorton) but not many. I do agree the term is a little long.

Ownership was told all it takes is tanking and building with high draft picks to win championships.
Oops guess they left out the part about quality of draft picks, player development, coaching and team building with winning attitude. You can't just suck and expect free agents will work out with winning. It's a team structure from the ground up. |

At one time I liked Shink but proved to me his pro game is for the A IMO
Granlund plays with fire in his gut something thats lost on Shink.
Shink is a dime a dozen player that gets lost in the NHL.
Nothing more than a traded asset for a useful NHLer. |
