Well..yes i dont know Anaheim would do it after locking him up for 6 years but yea id do that.
- Sabresfan-365

The way they're running that team into the ground it wouldn't surprise me. Who else would you have in mind though?

I'm not against moving him. I am against moving him for Strome.
- Wetbandit1

Yea no I wouldn't do that either

Muzzin could be an option. Maybe Hanifin in Carolina? I imagine it would have to be a team deep enough on D with a dire need for young talent up front.

Even if he projects better, If you're going to trade your former 2nd overall pick should at least do it to fill a more immediate need.

To be honest I haven't paid much attention to Hanifin, probably only seen him play a few times. What are his stats like?

Muzzin would be great, but not sure they give him up, even for Reinhart

I also like Ekholm a lot, but probably not enough to give them Reinhart

Agreed!

OEL and I would be 100% okay with it.

OEL would probably have a Norris if he played on the East coast and or didn't play for the Yotes

8 pts, 17 games. Not too many tough minutes but positive underlying numbers. Id do it.

Edit: I dont know nashville's team well enough but id think they'd do that.

I can't see him even being in the picture. We'd have to offer Reinhart and Nylander to even get things started. And even then, I doubt they trade him. They are very light on defense and heavy at forward

I think any conversation regarding OEL, at that cap hit, would have to include 15.

Oh I agree, but we talked over the summer if we would trade Reinhart for OEL...

That's pretty much the only deal I could have seen working. Obviously Reinhart plus plus

Alternatively Carolina may choose to move Faulk and keep Hanifin. Probably want a little something extra in that deal but certainly another name id take here.

Wait, were we actually serious about the Reinhart, OEL thing, cause that's laughable from Arizona's side. It would have to be Sam, plus a top 5 pick, plus Guhle. And that might not be enough. Defensemen who score 20 goals on horrendous teams don't come along very often.

They have a few good young D with Slavin, Fluery, Pesce (sp)

I'd be all over Faulk for Kane+ or 23 straight up

I'd love to add him for Kane straight up if that was an option. I wanted him in 2013.

Probably do that too, not sure it helps our scoring situation though.
