as for gus...that writing has been on the wall for a while...dates back to a year ago when he and Bylsma had a long conversation at practice

well ill avoid the adv stats and just go straight to the eye test. Seems to do a better job in the defensive/neutral zone. Him and Foligno have done some good work offensively too (well relatively). Stronger on the puck from what ive seen as well.

otherwise he would have thrived on that top line

tbh, I feel as if they're about the same...gus is a faster skater and is much better along the wall, imo, but cant' seem to finish...

might not be a bad idea to put gus and Larsson on the same line...those two had some chemistry in Rochester

reinhart needed to be dropped down...he hasn't been playing all that great...since Bylsma and gus are oil and water, Larsson really is their only choice right now
