Gordon's minimum LTIR period ends in a week. Anyone know if he has been skating at practice?

When he's healthy someone needs to be demoted or moved because they would have 24 players on the roster.

- Feanor

if he is "healthy" when that time comes

Controllers are easier to handle than ASWD. Also, I'm a console guy, personally.

Eh.. Lap looked like one of our better players in the playoffs sadly... but I want more than 5 games out of a guy each season.

They certainly did. Weird how hockey works sometimes. Puck luck and a solid goalie performance gets them the W. I think he has had a few more gaffes this year in the defensive zone, but the whole team has been poor when it comes to playing in the defensive zone and exiting it. Coots, of all players, has uncharacteristically been one of the worst flyers' forwards when it comes to exiting the D zone. And like you said, the goal-tending hasn't helped up to this point. Fortunately, their goal-tending and play in the defensive zone has improved the past few games.

Agreed about the last few games. They began to trend in the right direction following Leafs debacle.

Ew... just use an emulator and roms and play it for free like most tech savvy people.

You also get unlimited games, and imports.

Ah... I bought one of those fancy computer controllers that looks near identical to an Xbox one.... and got a free one that mirrors a PS2 one.

But I feel ya...

I'd use a PS2 one.

Also, it doesn't matter for 8/16-bit games, but I've always argued that, unless you build a "gaming computer," you probably won't get the full range of a computer game (like Skyrim, for instance) but the console version is specifically designed to work with the console so you get all it can offer.

heheh... yeah... my computer might be pretty (frank)ing sweet for games. Skyrim isn't even high in requirements anymore, but I'll forgive you on that since it was one of the top tier requirements like... 5 years ago.

PS2 controller on the PC, bam: https://www.amazon.com/Tr...r-Adapter-2/dp/B000F6BGXY

Also, you'd be surprised how badly optimized console games are for their hardware. Of course, most people don't care that "1080p" consoles sell you is actually a lower resolution.

Just using it as an example. I don't care enough to drop $1500 every 2 years to upgrade my video card and RAM. My on-board video card lets me play Heroes of Might and Magic III and Age of Conan just fine, but probably couldn't handle even Skyrim very well.

Ah, I guess I am a bit lucky in that I don't pursue the excessive requirement games... I only have to shell out the money once every 5 years. But at least the prices for ram and harddrives have come down a lot recently... Graphics cards will always be the budget breaker.

Yeah, I looked into it when my wife used to play the SNES Zelda (forget the name) but she lost interest.

And I know that they have to "dumb down" games for consoles. But my point was that a console is made to handle console games, whereas a computer is not made specifically to handle games. I like knowing that, if I buy a PS game, it will play on my PS without me having to check the hardware requirements.
