That's not what I heard at all. He said he's made calls, but there's nothing out there and that it's tough because it has to be money for money. He said sure, he could get a 13th forward or a 6th or 7th defenseman from someone, but taking a 36 year old off someone else's hands is not his idea of improvement.

The underlying stats show they're not as bad as their record, just snake bit. And you really can't argue against that. They should've had 4 goals tonight easy. Bishop was bad. Main problem is this team has no finishers. Fix that, and a lot of the problems go away.
