He's probably thrilled.
Free hotdog too. - Scabeh
Don't think so - Kessel would have forced a trade to Arizona if true.. |

Matthews pots 2 tonight. Everybody knows to go high glove on Reims.
5-2 seems accurate, though I want to say 1 to help keep building Freddy's SV% to a respectable number |

not from a European perspective.
I for one am happy that chances on a war in Ukraine-Russia (our backgarden) have decreased with Hillary not there. |

yeah no war.
Trump would just let Russia take over Ukraine and all the neighbouring countries |

I'm not overly optimistic about the effects of a Trump presidency on the integrity of NATO, which ultimately affects how Russia deals with the baltic states, which could end up being a proving ground to how they choose to proceed with Finland. |

I'm curious as to why this is thrown around quite a bit. Was there something revealed that supports this idea? (Genuinely curious but I have a hard time not shaking my head off of my shoulders every time I read about this election) |

At present, this is lacking anyways; NATO being used as an 'offensive (US) tool' as opposed to a safeguard for freedom and security.
I'm quite surprised by why people think Russia is more 'aggressive' than the US while over the past 20years we've seen the contrary.

I don't debate that the USA is 'more aggressive', but my concern lies with the fact that Russia has been aggressive in their foreign policy specifically with bordering countries.
Georgia
Ukraine/Moldova
Increasing talk around Baltic countries
More recent negative propaganda regarding Finland's political alignment |

very black / white short description:
Ukraine has a complete corrupt government.
That government has support from those close to Hillary. (Obama and company have been relatively balanced in the whole Russia-Ukraine conflict).
Hillary would potentially have wanted to escalate the conflict in Ukraine to 'teach the Russians'.
Another potential created war by US; we're really not wanting this - in particular because as always, it's the normal people that pay most in wars. (and this time with potential to spread out to Turkey and Eastern European countries). |

I find it very understandable that Russia is not very happy with Finland and Sweden potentially supporting NATO (=US) troups in Russia's backgarden, something which could eventually lead to an armed conflict and war.
Such a position does not help keep stability in the region.
I personally don't see Russia being aggressive toward europe/EU anyways; merely response to NATO discussions. |
