People make it sound like the republican party will follow everything these bumholes will ask without questions... Member of the congress have elections to win as well... they can't just vote for stuff that make no sense.

I saw it last night. At first glance, I read it and thought exactly the same thing. It was a disgusting comment.

Then I saw the woman's apology. She claims she was saying "made my day" in relation to the Trump's being in the Whitehouse, and NOT to the horrible racist comment.

This doesn't excuse her from being stupid. It doesn't mean she should continue to be in office. It is plausible that she actually made just a dumb mistake.

... Of course, there is no forgiveness for the original quote.

1) A woman? Who gave Saudi Arabia the finger, and who took tens of millions on campaign donations, from the very countries where women have almost zero rights.

1) Again, we will see about racism. Minorities have not exactly flourished under democratic rule either.

Today I look at the standing and they've lost 4 straight and have a +2 goal differential on the season.

Of course she apologizes and said it was misunderstanding. What else choice does she have? Doesn't mean it's believable. She replied to a tweet, she took the time to press that button. This wasn't a mistake. A misunderstanding. She chose to make that comment. THe explanation doesn't hold water, it makes no sense.

The comment was made in reply to that comment. Her explanation that her reply was meant to be about something not involved in the comment she replied to is utterly moronic.

Oh... I am not debating the original tweet. It was garbage. I just think it is possible tha the Mayor (the person who responded to the original tweet) was not thinking before she tweeted, rather than her being a racist.
