False equivalency...

You know Trump isn't just another President.. If Mitt Romney won no one would complain.

Being naive and ignoring all the warning signs is how bad thing happen.. He basically was inflaming a pitch forks and torches coup d'etat if he lost the election .

- Arctic_AARDVARK

True.
But as much as I think(and have for over a decade) that the guy is a complete trashy douche canoe, I truly believe he simply did and said whatever he could that was the opposite of the dems to get votes from all walks of right wing life.
He use to be a democrat... and has admitted in the past that if he were to run for president, he would has republican, cause basically most are idiots and believe anything. Which he proved.

While he may be a racist, sexist and general trash....I dont believe he will be anywhere near as bad as what he said or did during the campaign.

I could be wrong. but just a gut feeling.

Calloway and Under Armour are the ones to watch in golf. As far as growing product lines.

my take-aways from today:

1/ world is better of without religions
2/ US is now oficially a third world country
3/ no politician ever keeps his pre-election promises - so why are people worried of Trump keeping his? only way he could win the US elections was winning over the 'extreme' voters - his whole strategy was based on this. He'll be ok as a president (at least when compared with other US presidents and his opponent)
4/ no idea why people in Europe / Canada kept on supporting Hillary as a 'great candidate' - in Europe she would be considered in the same category as Wilders, Le Pen and the Austrian and Hungarian right-wing politicians..

Or maybe you think Canada will spend more on its military now and Pet will be a boom town..

- Arctic_AARDVARK

Hard to believe that some people still think that the President actually runs the country. And, can do whatever he wants or can dream up...

It's (frank)ed up how much fake poop was being tossed about AND BELIEVED by both sides. I'd say the right was much worse because of how loud and abhorrent/silly most of the "stories" were but both sides were just as guilty.

Sorry guys.

I received another set of center ice gold seat tickets for tonight's leaf game.
Last time I went (which was my first live leaf game in years - as I refused to go), they lost 7-0.
The leafs success rate with me in the building is low.
I predicted a 5-2 earlier cause Reimer was in the net.

It could now be another leaf loss if I go.

- Fakepartofme

you just don't want to watch Reimer..... if it was Bernier you'd be making a mess in your pants

I feel the same too. They weren't in it to win people over with ideas, they were in it to win and do so by any means possible.

Although I feel like he's already backpedaling hard on a lot, it's worrisome if he even gets 1 in 100 of the batpoop crazy ideas through.

oh
and
5/ people can't want to have 'climate controle measures' and 'growing economy objectives' at the same time. most of the time the treehuggers are the one that buy a new apple iphone every 2 years and over-consumate just to be hip, while then posting hundreds of 'tweets' about how we should protect the world's scarce resources, being mad about developing african countries that they are still using charcoil to diesel to run their generators for hospitals etc...
