Just go to Buford's Kitchen and get some wings. It's one block away from the PPGPA.

Some of those sandwiches just sound horrid with cole slaw and fries on them.

I'd probably go due to it being like out of towners going to Pat's or Geno's here.

- dragonoffrost

I'm an out of towner...and yes I go to Pat and Geno's at least twice every visit.....can't wait until next Friday.....although Jim's is pretty good.

Oh for heaven's sake do yourself a favor and get a cheese steak at John's Roast Pork. You'll never eat one anywhere else once you've tried theirs.

I second this recommendation.

The hours at John's are 7a-7p, so don't roll down there expecting to get a late night cheesesteak.

In addition to their cheesesteaks and pork sandwiches, I recommend John's breakfast sandwiches too. I had one a couple Saturday AMs ago and it was tremendous.

Not exactly right around the corner, but a few minutes drive away.

See my previous post about their hours, though.

I think Couturier has always been a bit gun shy with the puck. His confidence being down is just compounding that. He passed up a clear shot from the slot last night. That can't happen, he's at his best when he's funneling pucks to the net and getting his hands dirty near the crease.

The quality of scoring chances this team defense is giving up is out of control. Mason saved at least 10 goals last night but is chastised for 1 bad read on a major defensive break down.

King of soft goals.

Maybe he just isn't really that dynamic offensively. (Gasp)

I haven't had expectations of Couturier being dynamic offensively since his rookie year. He's a very solid hockey player who will excel in a structured attack. He's not the king of soft goals but he's better off simplifying his approach offensively instead of trying to keep up with Konecny and Jake's creativity.

4 Games to go until Turkey Day, 3 points back of the playoffs but a few too many teams ahead of us. Got to do some serious ground gaining or the buzzards will begin circling.
