Sure wish Andersen would make a big save once in a while.... right Artie?

The disappointment level for JVR is really bizarre. It's almost Matthews' level

- walshyleafsfan

He plays small, is a hot mess in his own end, playing on the 3rd line basically against weak opposition. Marner is lightyears ahead of him defensively.

With JVR it's because he's shown he's better than this in the past. He has it in him to be a 70 point player imo but his consistency going back to last season has been not so good.

Whatever Andersieve was too slow post to post

However... D (frank)ed him there.

Just clown shoes 24/7 with those two. I don't know how Babcock can put those two out there with a straight face.

Meh. I don't think there's a decent defensive player in the whole organization so I don't worry about that. Gets quite a lot of points though. They're useful.

He's doing fine. Especially for his salary. 13 points in 15 games isn't really a big disappointment.

they should have at least held hands, huh?
- UsernameUnknown

I would say hopefully Babcock is just trying to pump some value into them, but it's not possible anymore. Neither one of them are capable of playing defence. That clip should just be on repeat in the video room until the next game.

Great. Now it looks like Marincin is trying to check Andersen!

Someone better reassure him he wasn't traded to Nashville....yet.

I disagree: Kadri, Matthews, Marner, Komarov, even Bozak is better than JVR. Lupul, if he was playing, is probably worse.

Prayers for value have been maniacally ignored. Time to cut ties. Have fun in the ECHL boooys.

We're disappointed in Mathews and JVR who have a combined 24 points in 15 and a half games. Yet we love Corrado, Komarov and Carrick.

You can't write this poop.

I don't know if I can name someone (other than Wedgie) that doesn't idolize Leo. Carrick was slated as a future top 4 after 2 games with the Leafs last year and somehow Frankie Corrado is getting airtime? People are actually talking about Frankie "Four Fingers" Corrado.
