It's from earlier this summer, but I think this is a really cool article
https://www.nhl.com/news/...d-the-numbers/c-281085988

From the Sabres perspective...

1) LOVE that we got Okposo
- I was pretty unsure about him & went on record saying I wanted Stamkos or no one. However, when we got Okposo for only 6mil per, I was pretty happy with the deal. I thought he was gonna cost us 7.5-8, but his price probably decreased a little bc of Stamkos signing so cheap.
He's been great for us so far, awesome signing.
The article talks about him twice.
2nd in even strength scoring
1st in playmaking

2) Johnson/Enroth
- once we lost out on Johnson, Enroth sure seemed like a no brainer. Heck, if he could adjust to going in cold, I'd sub him in for shootouts since he's so good & Lehner obviously struggles for whatever reason.
Oh well. What's done is done. Although I have no idea why he wasn't brought back? Still seems like the perfect fit to me, especially since he was already successful here.
Regardless... so far, I'll admit I was wrong about Nilsson. I'm pleasantly surprised, but this is easily the best & most consistent he's ever played. Small sample size though, so hopefully he keeps it up.

3) scoring issues
- unless he just didn't wanna come here, I still think Hudler would've been worth a small gamble. Same with Pirri, even though he's not mentioned at all.
And Demers was brought up by 89 and a few others I believe. According to the #s, he prob could've been quite helpful right about now. Especially with our injuries on the back end.

Anyways,
Just my takes on a cool article i stumbled upon

My grandma made AMAZING Apple Pie when she was still with us.
I'm a pretty good cook, but I could never get the pie crust just right.
I can cook all day, but my baking is mediocre.

So my version of Apple pie, which actually turns out pretty great...
For the crust, flatten cinnamon rolls in the bottom of the pan.
Sautéed apples w a little butter & brown sugar on top.
Then a crumble topping like you described.
Drizzle with Salted Caramel syrup (which is super easy to make)

It's REALLY good

Serious question: does all the impeding and obstruction that clearly happens every game actually have an end result of the higher end players being more susceptible to injury because they are easier to hit as the lesser talented players have a better chance to keep up with them?

I ask because the morons that run the league seem to feel the opposite is true.

- kingcong39

A lot of people have theorized that the removal of the red line causes the game to be faster accounting for more injuries because now players have a head of steam built up and therefore crash into the end boards with more force.

I don't exactly cut a svelte figure, but

The Sun reported Kim has been referred to as Jin Pang Pang (Kim Fatty Fatty) and Kim Fatty III as well as Jin San Fei (Kim Abundant III) by Chinese web users. North Korean officials in Hong Kong have asked their comrades in China to stop the name-calling before Kim looks for someone to blame, Apple Daily reported.
