Cant get a wok hot enough to do legit stir fry on my current gas stove.
Electrics are useless. and if your electric goes out, you're screwed.
Can still light a gas stove with a match or lighter.

WTF kind of gas they use out there? I have a giant frying pan that I use to make steak that's a lot thicker than a wok that gets screaming hot on a regular gas stove. I actually can't use it on high or it burns the oil.

Still don't get it do you, I figured as much.

I actually boiled water the other day and it went well, but it's just so unnatural feeling lol. Plus electric stoves have that weird smell while cooking. It's just no good lol. Maybe I should just start cooking everything by campfire

Yeah, YouTube has some video of people building real impressive outdoor stoves out of natural things and scrap metals. I also just tried cooking pork in the ground this past summer, like at a luau. Took five hours but came out real tender, lost no fluids.
