About the same odds NYT gave Trump of winning

The last couple of years have been really good years for betting on extreme long shots. I wonder whether we've missed the boat on placing such bets, or whether it continues. What was Leicester City? 5,000-1 or something like that?

Yup, but I don't think anyone would've ever bet Leicester City. That would've just been insane.

Sometimes .... Sometimes, people just put some money down on the longest of longest shots they can find just for the hell of it. I wonder how much got paid out on Leicester City.

If it helps in your analysis, Ted Nugent is currently in my backyard ripping a Buck's throat out with his teeth.

It's his one last hunt before being named Secretary of State.

I think the Leafs already retired his number after the 4 goal first game
- jimbro83

I saw a tweet that day after that first game that Matthews announced his retirement, to go down as the greatest Leaf of all time!

I don't have an issue with hunting per se, but the pure joy he seems to get out of killing animals is a bit creepy.

Depends on the animal and hunt if its enjoyable IMO.

Some hunting, like whitetails, are painfully boring. Can spend hours upon hours sitting and seeing nothing.

Bear hunts are typically baited to an extent, much less waiting... and killing a bear is a bit more badass.

Now... hunts where you are actually stalking said animals and needing to shoot 50-200 yards, Moose, Elk, etc, are a lot more prideful and sport-like.

Oh, and most rabbit/pheasant type hunts are fun, due to the amount of shooting you get to do.

Back when I lived in Russia and was dating this girl, her male family members took me out hunting bears. Was very interesting. I'd never hunted something larger than a deer.

I've been bear hunting in Canada... the hunt itself is a bit lazy and laid back since they can bait and feed. Bear meat however... ugh. there is a reason dogs won't eat it unless dieing.

Always enjoyed rabbit and pheasant back when I hunted. Being in the woods for deer is interesting watching everything around you, but somewhat boring. If only I could get a bow and hunt out my back window. The wife would be royally pissed if I discharged buckshot from inside the house.
