I just finished it based on a lot of reviews that called it one of the best Fantasy novels of all time (kind of in a GOT mold). To be honest, it took me 200 pages to start liking it, well past what I would normally give a book, but I was glad I read it in the end. I was just curious what you thought about it if you read it.

They were too busy nuking every account that had Edmonton Oilers listed as the team name. JB definitely went full on scorched earth that night.

I just finished it based on a lot of reviews that called it one of the best Fantasy novels of all time (kind of in a GOT mold). I'm reading a Caleb Carr book now, called Surrender, New York. Pretty good book.

I will check out that other book though.

A large percentage of the Rangers fan base have jumped the shark on Girardi, and there is no way they give him a chance to bounce back from a bad season. Ranger fans always need a whipping boy on the blue line, and it's Girardi now. He could score the game winning OT goal in Game 7 of the Stanley Cup Finals, and people would say the Rangers would have ended the series earlier of Girardi didn't suck so bad.

It just is what it is.

I said in the summer I thought a lot of his play last year was due to injuries and long seasons. I wanted him here again this year to see how he would do with a long off season and being healthy. He has exceeded my expectations. Sure he still does that awful snow angel every now and then, but he has been solid.

he's been fine this year. thankfully, it doesnt seems he'll need to play 24minutes per night any more. he'll do well with scaled back minutes.

he's been fine this year. thankfully, it doesnt seems he'll need to play 24minutes per night any more. he'll do well with scaled back minutes.

They can ask him to waive it for the exp draft which he most def will not be taken.

Depends. Skjei doesn't have to be. So that would leave McDonagh, Staal and G as the 3 defenseman. You don't think there will be better D men exposed by other teams then Klein, Holden. Buch and Vesey don't have to be, so that leaves 7 forwards who can be. Kreider, Stepan Hayes, Zibanejad, Zuke, Miller, Nash/Grabner?

losing Klein or Holden wouldn't be end of the world

if they acquired a big time defenseman sometime this season, then they'd have to figure out what they are doing with the Girardi expansion factor
