Somehow YT got me to a video to 2 guys just like Billy Bob from that movie on "how to get a girl to fall in love with you" The original video was about chemicals your body makes. How the (frank) does that happen in 3 videos?

They ended up getting there though, but they were trying to win at first, but when they realized it wasn't working they tanked, and fired Darcy, they tried to get the best player they could. They absolutely were rebuilding going into 2014. They never signed a center, kept Grigorenko up, made no moves, and traded our best player 13 games into the year.

Yeah the goal was always center depth. But it wasn't specifically for Reinhart. It was to get the best player they could. It would've been Ekblad if we got the 1st pick.

It was ok. I just see a lot of movies. But it was about classes shy guys take to learn how to talk to women. And Billy Bob is the instructor(obviously) and Heder was the student(obviously). And they get into a war over the woman Heder went to the class to learn to talk to. There were some funny moments, but overall it was very "meh" as you'd say.

And the video was like that about how to manipulate women. Now I'm onto a keynote speech of an actual convention about it. lol I'm kind of scared to see where it takes me from here, but I'm all-in to see where this rabbit hole goes.

I'm being very pedantic. What he's saying is that they tanked specifically for Reinhart. They didn't. The end goal was always McDavid. They were talking about McDavid for like 3, 4 years before his draft year. They knew 2014 was a relatively weak draft class, so we took what we could get. We tanked HARD for McDavid. Trading and starting 37 different goalies speaks to that. Plus Ted Nolan.

Edit: We absolutely tanked in Reinhart's draft year, but not specifically for him.

Draisaitl has 8 points on the high flying Oilers behind Lucic and Pat Maroon!, Bennett has 7 and is having a solid year at 3G, but not exactly being dominant, Dal Colle doesn't even have a single NHL game yet, and Ekblad, whom we had no chance at, has 2 points.

Bennett is the only other guy we would have taken at 2 from everything we know. Murray isn't crazy about foreigners so Draisaitl is out even though he played in the CHL, but it was only 1 year. Reinhart has 5 more points in 9 more games than Bennett on a worse or evenly bad team.

Let's just (frank)ing relax about it, eh? Like Goose said earlier this is supposed to be entertainment. Change the (frank)ing channel if you don't like it. And maybe one's "expectations" are way out of line to reality. A lot of people take it way too seriously. If the Sabres win am I happy? Sure, but I'm not dejected if they lose and come on here and say the whole team sucks, fire everyone and LAST PLACE!! They're not integral to my personal happiness. If they win it's just gravy, if they lose. Whatever. If they lose a really close game, sure I'm moderately aggravated, for about 15 minutes, and if they get (frank)ed by the referees like the other night then maybe a half hour, but certainly by the next morning I'm totally over it and on to the next one.

I'm perfectly relaxed. I just don't understand the "he's a bonus" point as if he isn't a HUGE factor in this rebuild.

The one thing I agree on, is the not caring too much aspect. I don't really care when we lose, and that's maddening the hell out of me. I want to care. I want to look forward to every game. I want to talk about who we might match up with in the post season as opposed to who are we going to offload our dead weight. But that's the state of this team. And to be honest, I think it's a shame. It hasn't been fun or nerve-wracking in a long time.

There are a lot of players to female dog about right now, I don't get why continuing to complain about a 20 yrs old kid is warranted. Lets complain about why Kane isan't scoring, or others....or how about a former 1st round pick @14 that does WHAT???
